At this point in the course, I am really looking forward to the annotation process because to me, one of the most important things about being an active reader is annotating. In writing, nothing is ever put on paper by chance so although it can feel neurotic to look over ever detail (word choice, punctuation, etc.), it can provide a whole new meaning to the text itself.
