After peer reviewing with Jamie and Terry, I feel a lot better about my paper. They provided very helpful feedback that I hope will improve my paper for the upcoming formal draft. I also absolutely believe reviewing someone else’s paper helps you with your own writing and I believe I am currently seeing the effects of that as I make edits to my essay. As I develop my strategy, a goal I am keeping in mind is to organize my paper a little better. Currently, it feels a little all over the place with ideas in awkward places that need elaboration. I am going to attempt to write my ideas flashcards and attempt to piece them together in order. My biggest challenge will most likely be organization but thankfully I have the flashcard strategy in mind to combat that issue. If I feel that I need more help, I plan on reaching out to my peers from my ePortfolio group as well as Mrs. Emerson to have multiple takes on my paper. Overall, I believe this paper is the most challenging one yet but at the same time I feel the most prepared for because I have had experience writing college papers now and feel more confident in my ability level.
